A Florida man faces possession of child pornography charges despite the fact that he claims his cat downloaded the images on his computer.
Keith R. Griffin of Jensen Beach told Martin County Sheriff’s detective the nearly 1,000 child pornographic images on his computer must have been downloaded when his cat jumped on the keyboard, TC Palms reports.
The 48-year-old man said he often leaves his computer on when he goes out and lately, whenever he returned home, strange material had been downloaded.
Astute officers didn’t buy Griffin’s claim and charged him 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
He was lodged in Martin County Jail in lieu of $250,000. |
